My interest in environmental and food policy, integrative nutrition, and public health has guided me throughout my educational and professional life. Even when I was very young, healthful and intuitive eating and living has been a passion and now I am lucky enough to pursue it as a career. It was the emphasis placed on the vital and interrelated physiological, environmental, socio-cultural, and spiritual role of food in my master's program that helped me to choose this career path.
Over the last five years, I've had the privilege of training under and learning from some of the foremost leaders in the field of functional and integrative health, including, Kara Fitzgerald, Aviva Romm, and staff at Mark Hyman's Ultra Wellness Center – all trailblazers and visionaries.
In addition to clinical work, I love researching and writing and am published in Forbes, MindBodyGreen, Yahoo, Real Simple, and CleanPlates.
I have also completed advanced training in canine nutrition and am passionate about applying nutrition science to support the health and well-being of dogs, helping them thrive and enjoy long, active, and fulfilling lives.
I believe in real food and real ingredients and I am always busy in the kitchen creating healthful, tasty, and nutrient-dense recipes. I use a practical, positive approach to help both children and adults improve their overall well being, achieve their goals, and develop sustainable habits to lead a healthy and happy life. For dogs, services may include support for specific health conditions, homemade diet formulation, guidance on creating a healthy and safe home environment, evaluation of vitamin and mineral levels, and individualized supplement and lifestyle recommendations.

I partner with schools, groups, and organizations to create nutrition and food education curricula and school meal programs.
